Lead conversion is the final step in the sales process for network marketing. Without it, there is no money, there is no sale. With the internet, it is easier than ever to seek out people who are interested in what you do and what you have to offer, but getting traffic isn’t enough, you need to convert them to a lead to even have a chance to show them what you truly have and then you need to convert that lead to a sale. Here are a few tips on how you can take all that web traffic and get some online lead generation to drive sales.
A Strong Call To Action
If you have a blog or some type of social site like a Facebook fan page for your network marketing business where you generate traffic, you want to make sure when they get there that they know exactly what you would like them to do. Most people who are looking for lead conversion use some sort of capture page to generate leads. Your capture page should be very direct in instruction. For example, if you want your prospective lead to fill in their contact information, it needs to read something like: Fill in your contact information below. Using arrows or other eye catching graphics can help draw them to this area. Remember, this is a form of marketing so it needs to draw the eye and read simple yet direct.
Something of Value
Because not everyone is always keen on giving there contact information away, it is always best to have some sort of prize at the end of that rainbow. Again, when you have a capture page for online lead generation, you want to make sure you offer something in return for your prospects information. A pre-recorded webinar or a training video or E-Book is a great FREE gift to give people in exchange for their information. Now, remember this is not converting the lead because you have to get the information first, but it starts here. Again, let them know in simple terms exactly what they are getting for signing up on your list. This tends to put people at more ease and lead conversion is more likely to happen when people have a better reason to buy.
Follow Up
Now that you have the lead, following up with your lead no matter what level you are at in your networking business is the most important thing you can do to secure lead conversion. I mean, what good is a lead if you don’t contact them and close the deal, right? The best rule of thumb is to get yourself some type of auto responder software in place that will automatically put the lead on an email list where you can blast important information out to them. If your prospect adds a phone number, contact them within a 24 hour period whenever possible so the lead doesn’t get cold. Cold lead generally equals dead leads.
Know Who Your Target Audience Is
Knowing the type of people you are looking to draw is the most important key to the puzzle. If you don’t know who your target market is, how the heck are you going to sell them anything? If you are part of a network marketing opportunity that sells vitamins, you probably want to target people who take vitamins and are health conscious. You need to appeal to the belly of the beast. By knowing exactly what your targeted audience is looking for, you have a much better chance of saying the right things to them to get them to give you their information and a better chance of having them buy into what you are selling. The old saying “You can’t say the wrong thing to the right person” couldn’t be more true when trying to convert a lead.
Overall, there are several things you can do to try to get better lead conversion and there are tools available to help make that happen, but making sure to follow these simple rules for the “get go” will always help you score that goal of a sale.
